I was born in Warsaw, Poland. I came to the United States via Italy and earned a PhD in Chemistry. Since receiving my PhD, I have conducted research and taught at the University of Florida. Along the way I started to weave. After many work-shops, conferences, and self-taught new techniques, I am now a full-time weaver. By now I have four looms in use. Miles of fabric have flowed from my looms. My art work has been displayed in art shows, galleries, and exhibits. I have sold in many venues and received awards. I draw great satisfaction from seeing my art worn by my customers and receiving many repeat orders.
Weaving is by far the most enjoyable and creative thing that I have done. It is hard to imagine the pleasure that I derive from carrying a project from design/color selection through to the final product. It is my hope that you will gain just as much pleasure and enjoyment from wearing my garments as I did from their creation.
From yarn on cones - to the loom threaded, shuttle with yarn, weaving begun - to the finished garment (with many steps between!).
